Underdog was here and I grabbed him by the ear!

It was clear, when my Super Hero appeared, I had absolutely no fear. Underdog was here, and I grabbed his ear! My Mom found this toy (isn’t it just perfect!?!) on Chewy.com.

The crackle noise and talking it does, gets me all fired up! When I see Mom drop him into her treat bag, I know we’re headed for some fun adventures! There’s no need to fear, Underdog Rylie is HERE!!

Our favorite spot when it’s hot!

Paradise Lake Conservancy Area

We love to go walking in the woods. Especially on hot days when the trees provide lots of shade. No hot cement on my feet. I saw a deer on this hike. I also met some new people and even a dog or two. I still channel my inner-Cujo when I’m scared and uncertain. I can look pretty silly losing my marbles when Sweet Kody just sits there and lets the interlopers pass by… I will continue to work on attaining my Kody-like-zen!

I’m a big dog!

See my big dog ball!?! This ball is yet another toy the Sweet Kody-oh shared with me. I can move it around with my nose, but my favorite is to play with it on the patio! I am oh-so-proud of myself when I can actually pick it up and carry it, just like a big dog!! Yep, I have big-dog-self-confidence, I do!

My second visit to the vet!

Visited my vet and now I am all set!

I wasn’t as happy go lucky on my second visit to the vet. I was actually kinda scared. All the smells and sounds were making me nervous. Thank goodness my Pops was there to reassure me. I weighed in at 20lbs! I just keep growing and growing! Turns out my vet isn’t so bad. He gives me treats while I get my vaccines. Now, I’m all up-to-date. Next visit will be just for a weight check to get my next Sentinel dose. By the end of the visit, I was making myself comfortable… for more treats, of course!

I like being a trail dog!

Yes, yes, I do like the trails best!

There’s lots of choices for trail walking in our area. Paradise Lake Conservation area is just a short car ride away. So is Brightwater trails. I’m still unsure of strangers and other dogs on the trail but I really like the trail walks we take. There’s so much to smell and see! The twists and turns. The shade from the trees on a hot summer day. It’s just perfect!

Any time is great for patio time!

My Mom got this really nice setup that she put on the patio just for me and Sweet Kody. Now, we can go out and play on the patio without getting into trouble digging up the gardens and such. This also gives us a space to work on togetherness. We like to sit on the patio together, just like we do at the park or on the trails. I’m just so happy to be here that it’s hard for me to not jump (and bite) with joy!
